Nirmaan Rehabilitation Facility is a residential rehabilitation center that has been started with the aim of treating individuals suffering from chemical dependence such as drug addiction and alcoholism. All the counselors and therapist at Nirmaan are trained, well skilled in the field of substance abuse and family therapies and totally dedicated to the cause. Nirmaan possessed a strong belief in love, care, prayer and meditation and prefers living a Drug & Alcohol free life.

History

We are several friends who grew up suffering with Addiction and have experienced it to a chronic phase what had compelled us witnessing the bottom of life because of the Drug Epidemic. Many of us came from different background and identity with a unique storyline but our end was same that we came into a recovery going under treatment. We are maintaining our sobriety by following the 12 Steps Program and the Spiritual Principles thereon living and enjoying a life without Drugs and Alcohol today. Before calling us a Member of Nirmaan, a Counselor of Substance Abuse or a Service Provider, we prefer calling us as “Recovering Addict”. Before setting up Nirmaan, each one of our staff was already working in the field of Rehabilitation System in different places of North-East. Nirmaan has enforced some ethics for the staffs which are to be followed without fail -

12 Ethics of Nirmaan

1. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan shall at all time maintain a peaceful and friendly atmosphere within Nirmaan premises and at the surroundings

2. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan shall always abide by the rules & traditions of the center and in no manner ever violating them for self benefit.

3. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan shall keep ourselves away from the use of slang or abusive language, encouraging or involving in predatory behaviors, criticism of an individual or his belief system.

4. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan shall treat everyone equally irrespective of his religion, social status, financial standard & shall render our service towards the community with utmost integrity and honesty.

5. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan have fully confirmed that my primary purpose is to stay away from any kind of mood altering chemical and to promote the welfare of all the patients.

6. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan shall avoid bringing personal & professional issues into the relationship with any patient, ex patient, student, research person or any person related to Nirmaan or with the families related to them nor we shall exploit or use them for our personal benefits.

7. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan shall keep ourselves away from making any statement or appearance in the level of press, media & public without the consent of Authority – in –Charge of Nirmaan.

8. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan shall always maintain the official secrecy including safeguarding of all documents, registers and other assets of the facility.

9. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan shall protect the confidential information of the patient that is acquired during family orientation, counseling sessions, investigation etc and shall always avoid sharing them with any other person respecting the confidentiality of the patient and his family

10. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan shall always hold our responsibility toward society and shall carry the message of recovery to an addict, any addict those who are reaching out for help.

11. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan shall all the time aware of the activities which are verbally instructed to us by Nirmaan authority.

12. We, as a service provider of Nirmaan shall make our stay countable for our recovery considering this place is of the addicts, for the addicts and by the addicts.
